How the 144 000 are sealed

The Seventh-day Adventist church is the true church of God, its has been in existence since 1844. The church is in its last section where wheat and tares (faithful and the unfaithful) are comingled. As a result of the abominations that have been creeping into the church, the Lord commands His children to sigh and cry for all the abominations done in His church. It is now imperative that we know the abominations being done in His church today so that we may be sealed and separated from the disloyal. Ezekiel 9 describes how this sealing is to happen. This sealing is to take place just before the four winds of Revelation 7 (the Mark of the Beast) are let loose. Inspiration has to say in the following paragraphs:

Angel with Slaughter Weapon, Ezekiel 9, sigh and cry

Sealing of the servants of God

“The true people of God, who have the spirit of the work of the Lord and the salvation of souls at heart, will ever view sin in its real, sinful character. They will always be on the side of faithful and plain dealing with sins which easily beset the people of God. Especially in the closing work for the church, in the sealing time of the one hundred and forty-four thousand who are to stand without fault before the throne of God, will they feel most deeply the wrongs of God’s professed people. This is forcibly set forth by the prophet’s illustration of the last work under the figure of the men each having a slaughter weapon in his hand. One man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer’s inkhorn by his side. “And the Lord said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.”

The 144 000 receive the pure mark of truth

“Who are standing in the counsel of God at this time? Is it those who virtually excuse wrongs among the professed people of God and who murmur in their hearts, if not openly, against those who would reprove sin? Is it those who take their stand against them and sympathize with those who commit wrong? No, indeed! Unless they repent, and leave the work of Satan in oppressing those who have the burden of the work and in holding up the hands of sinners in Zion, they will never receive the mark of God’s sealing approval. They will fall in the general destruction of the wicked, represented by the work of the five men bearing slaughter weapons. Mark this point with care: Those who receive the pure mark of truth, wrought in them by the power of the Holy Ghost, represented by a mark by the man in linen, are those “that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done” in the church. Their love for purity and the honour and glory of God is such, and they have so clear a view of the exceeding sinfulness of sin, that they are represented as being in agony, even sighing and crying. Read the ninth chapter of Ezekiel.” Testimonies for the church vol.3 p.267

  10. The promise of the land (heavenly Canaan) is to Abraham’s seed. Jesus said, “If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham. [If ye are not the children of Abraham] Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do.” See John 8:39-44. (By doing the works of Abraham), “Then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” Gal. 3:29
  11. Insisting that we have all the truth and have need of nothing (ignorance) {Read Revelation 3.)
  12. Turning down Scriptural claims without investigation as to its light (prejudice) Testimonies for the Church Volume 5 page 211: “The abominations for which the faithful ones were sighing and crying were all that could be discerned by finite eyes, but by far the worst sins, those which provoked the jealousy of the pure and holy God, were unrevealed.” Shepherd’s Rod book, Vol. 1 p.35
  13. Trusting in the arm of Flesh {Isaiah 2:22}

“The hour cometh and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in Truth: for the father seeketh such to worship Him.” John 4:23.

Therefore, brothers and sisters only those Seventh Day Adventist members who cry and sigh for the abominations which are done in the midst of Jerusalem (SDA church) will receive the seal of the Living God in their foreheads.
